You nominate yourself for the position that holds many responsibilities. Having ambitions, talent and discipline, success is possible in your case. Whilst, many tend to ignore the hard work and wish for the instant fruit of their little efforts, you know essence of the hard work. By hard work, it does not mean continuous efforts with no motive but the way of consuming necessary lessons to strengthen your foundation; on which your career will stand.
You can be tough and rude as a Boss while being an employee you can be polite. The reason is that you are stubborn with the ideas and beliefs you already have. You need to little welcoming for other perspectives too. That stubbornness lessens your opportunities.
