Once Survya made a shadow of Sanjana and called her Chaya. At that time, Sanjana was away from Surya. Chaya was supposed to take care of Surya in his wife’s absence. But sooner Survya fell in love with Chaya and Sanajana found about it. Then, Sanjana transformed herself into a mare and ran away. Meanwhile, Surya realized his mistake and he himself turned into a horse and ran after her. Soon, he caught up to her in a meadow where both made love.
Hence, the Ashwini twins were born. The King’s sons were named Dashraa and Nasatya, famously known as the Ashwini Kumars.
